1064 Celypha rosaceana female
cf. C.
rufana

Note:
Some sources (e.g. Razowski; Nel) state or show the signum lacking in rosaceana and this has led to its presence or absence being used to separate this species from rufana. The above two examples of rosaceana show a signum and it may be more reliable to use the shape of the sterigma, which is complex and compact in rosaceana (A) and crossbow-shaped in rufana (B).

We welcome any comments on this and a female specimen of
rufana.
